Preparation
Set the griddle temperature to 190c, this high heat helps create a delicious, crispy crust on the outside of the patty while keeping the inside juicy and flavorful.
Start the cooking process on the hot griddle.
Once the burger is starting to seal on underside, apply pressure using a burger press to smash out the patty creating ragged edge.
Turn the patty over and repeat process. Cheese can be added and a cover applied to speed melting. Build burger bun with required salad, gherkins, sauce and relish accompaniments.

Med-rare 2.5 mins per side 135C core temperature
Medium 3.5 mins per side 145C core temperature
Med-Well 4 mins per side 155C core temperature
Well Done 4.5mins per side 160C core temperature
