T.Quality expands its Scottish operations in new £1.9m warehouse redevelopment at Hillington Park

T.Quality, is expanding its Scottish business with a move into a new £1.9 million logistics unit redevelopment at Hillington Park, Scotland’s largest industrial estate, following its recent acquisition of Glasgow based food service operator Morrison’s Foodservices in March 2022.

T.Quality, which previously traded from a 10,000 sq ft unit also on Hillington Park, will move into the newly redeveloped 22,540 sq ft  logistics facility at 1 Carnegie Road after works completion at end of May as its business continues to grow across Scotland. The new site will see the creation of 20 new jobs to begin, with further expansion planned in the coming months and years ahead.

The completed £1.9m Carnegie Road redevelopment at Hillington Park will saw a dilapidated 1950’s site turned into an energy efficient, modern logistics unit with new internal offices and a redesigned and enlarged service yard that meets modern HGV usage standards.

The redevelopment, which was designed with improved energy efficiency at its core will reduce energy consumption by 79% compared to the building’s previous condition through enhanced insulation, LED lighting, air-source heat pump efficient heating and removal of gas appliances.  In business terms these improvements will result in a typical saving of £6000 in costs each year, with the EPC rating for the building improving from F to B.
