Young Fish Friers launch new website
Designed to support the future friers who are taking the Fish and Chip Industry forward, a website dedicated to supporting the Young Fish Friers group has now been launched in association with the NFFF.
Alongside the chance to join the group, the website features news and photos from the latest events, links to social media, plus information about the aim of the group. The website will be developed over time to feature more content and contributions as the group grows.
The Young Fish Friers group is FREE TO JOIN and open for anyone aged between 16 and 30 and currently working in the Fish and Chip Industry.
The aim is help young friers network with other people that work in the Fish and Chip Industry, learn more about the industry and its suppliers, develop skills and share knowledge.
The group is supported by the National Federation of Fish Friers (NFFF) but will be operated by young friers for young friers and will be run both online as well as through regular outings, meetings and visits... with a bit of fun thrown in.
NFFF Treasurer Andrew Crook comments, “we have been really encouraged by the enthusiasm and response to our two outings so far, so we are really excited to now launch an online presence where young friers can join up and start to network. We can see that the passion and drive of these young friers will be key to the future of the industry so we really want to help support this and encourage any young friers who want to get more out of this fantastic, world famous trade to sign up. This is just the beginning of what we hope will be a significant and exciting new chapter in the history of the fish frying industry”
